VOYAGE OF TIME
When Time Loses Its Boundaries
What if the past, present and future came together in a single moment?
In VOYAGE OF TIME, Alexander Maria Lohmann condenses the history of our universe into powerful visual worlds. The Big Bang and galaxies. Rainforests and cities. Dinosaurs, humans and possible new forms of life. Everything exists at once.
His own photography merges with digital imagery and artificial intelligence. Metals, mineral pigments, glass, mirrors and fragments of nature add depth and texture to the works. Mirrors draw the viewer into the image, making the present moment part of the artwork itself.
The greater the scale of time, the more precious the moment.
Simply Look. And See What Stays.
Art does not always need an explanation.
Sometimes, a glance is enough. A detail. A thought that stays with you. Take a little time in the evening and let the works speak for themselves. Step closer, change your perspective or talk directly to the artist.

Crossing boundaries and bringing contrasts together – this is at the heart of Alexander Maria Lohmann’s work.
On his travels around the world, he captures extraordinary encounters, landscapes and moments, transforming them into powerful visual worlds.
His work has been shown at international art fairs and galleries around the world, including Art Basel Miami and a solo exhibition at the Leica Gallery Salzburg.
With his project THE END OF HUMAN RACE at the Rettenbach Glacier in Sölden, he explores the future of humanity. VOYAGE OF TIME takes this idea further – placing time itself at the centre.
